Cuemái Triumphs at Isola Design Awards during Dubai Design Week

From the debut at Material Futures' Christmas show at Central Saint Martins to presentations at internationally renowned venues, and now receiving recognition from a platform dedicated to emerging designers, Cuemái has experienced an extraordinary journey filled with challenges, growth, and steadfast support. Each exhibition and every conversation has played a crucial role in reaching this milestone.

This time Cuemái has been awarded the Material category at Isola Design Awards 2024! This recognition is more than a win for the project; it validates the idea that merging sustainability with heritage can reshape the future of design. The award comes as a testament to our belief in blending traditional Mexican craftsmanship with sustainable practices, specifically through repurposing tequila byproducts into innovative materials.

Back to Milan in 2025

This win paves the way for Cuemái's return to Milan Design Week 2025! Milan has always been a city where ideas are exchanged and boundaries are pushed, and it’s an honor to bring Cuemái back to this stage with even more momentum.
